About Herbal Bath Products
Aarviyon Herbal Bath Products revive Snana, the traditional Indian bath, using the preparations Indian households used long before soap arrived: chickpea flour and herb powders that cleanse without stripping, and herbal soaks that turn a bath into a therapy.
Conventional soap is alkaline and removes the skin’s acid mantle along with the dirt. Ubtan cleanses through gentle abrasion and the natural saponins in the herbs, leaving the skin’s own barrier intact — which is why generations of Indian skin stayed soft without moisturiser.
Key Benefits
- Soap-Free Cleansing — No sulphates, no synthetic detergents, no stripping.
- Gentle Exfoliation — Traditional ubtan smooths and brightens naturally.
- Calming Fragrance — Sandalwood and rose, not synthetic perfume.
- Skin Clarity — Neem and turmeric support clear, comfortable skin.
- Muscle Relief — The herbal soak eases tiredness after a long day.
- Suits Sensitive Skin — No harsh surfactants or artificial colour.
- Traditional Practice — Snana as it was actually done.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will ubtan really clean as well as soap?
A: Yes, though differently. It cleanses by gentle abrasion and natural saponins rather than by stripping oils, so skin feels soft rather than squeaky.
Q: Will the turmeric stain my skin?
A: A very slight golden tint is possible on fair skin and fades within a day. The quantity used is deliberately modest.
Q: Can I use it daily?
A: The bath powder and soak, yes. The ubtan scrub is better used two or three times a week.
Q: Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
A: Generally yes, since there are no sulphates or synthetic fragrance. Always patch test first.
Q: Will it clog the drain?
A: Rinse well with plenty of water. It is fine ground and disperses easily.
