About Ayurvedic Therapy Oils
Aarviyon Ayurvedic Therapy Oils bring together the classical named oils that Panchkarma centres rely on — Mahanarayan for joints and muscles, Ksheerabala for nerves and Vata disorders, Dhanwantharam for post-natal and neurological care, and Pinda Taila for inflammatory heat.
Each of these oils has a fixed classical recipe recorded in texts such as the Ashtanga Hridayam and Sahasrayogam. We follow those recipes rather than reinventing them, using the traditional Sneha Kalpana method in which herbs, water and oil are cooked together over repeated cycles until only the oil remains.
Key Benefits
- Joint & Muscle Relief — Mahanarayan is the classical oil for stiffness and pain.
- Nerve Support — Ksheerabala is used traditionally for neurological comfort.
- Inflammatory Heat — Pinda Taila is cooling, for hot, inflamed joints.
- Post-Natal Care — Dhanwantharam is classical for recovery after birth.
- Traditional Recipes — Prepared to the formulas in classical texts.
- Sneha Kalpana Method — Repeated cooking cycles, not simple maceration.
- Therapist Grade — Suitable for clinical Panchkarma use.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Which oil should I choose?
A: Mahanarayan for stiff, aching joints; Pinda Taila for hot, swollen ones; Ksheerabala for nerve discomfort; Dhanwantharam for post-natal care. A practitioner can be more precise.
Q: What is Sneha Kalpana?
A: The classical method of cooking herbs, water and oil together over repeated cycles until all the water has evaporated and the herb properties have transferred to the oil.
Q: Can I use these daily?
A: Yes, for general massage. For therapeutic use, follow your practitioner’s course.
Q: Are these the same as commercial pain-relief oils?
A: No. These follow classical multi-herb recipes rather than being simple menthol and camphor rubs.
